Transpositions: Soundscapes from the crossroads of Jazz, Classical and Soundtracks!
Transpositions aka Deep Threes 2.0 is here!
Transpositions is the reboot of the long-running weekly music show Deep Threes. The new show picks up where Deep Threes left off as that show ends its 16 year run.
Transpositions is a one-hour weekly music show that features eclectic instrumental soundscapes. Like Deep Threes, distinctive hand-picked extended mixes and minimal host talk put the music front and center. Transpositions draws on the rich variety of music under the umbrella of the Jazz, Classical and Soundtrack genres.
The show is available at no cost to non-commercial broadcasters worldwide. Radio stations can download weekly episodes and promos from the Public Radio Exchange (PRX), Pacifica AudioPort, !earshot-Distro, online file sharing, or a private RSS feed.
The show made its debut on September 23, 2026. You can listen to episodes here.
Episodes are released each Wednesday for broadcast that week. Audio files on all distribution platforms (except PRX) are MP3, 320 kbps Constant Bit Rate, 44.1 kHz, 16-bit. PRX distributes content as MP2 files.

Deep Threes isn’t going away, it’s evolving into Transpositions! Evergreen episodes of Deep Threes will still be available too…
Deep Threes is a two-hour weekly radio show that focuses on eclectic instrumental soundscapes that feature a wide range of jazz, electronic, soundtrack, modern classical and experimental music. Distinctive hand-picked extended mixes and minimal host talk put the music front and center.
Since going on the air in 2010, Deep Threes found a home during the late evening and overnight hours on affiliate stations in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand and England.
The show is ending its successful 16 year run in syndication on October 28, 2026. Evergreen episodes are available to non-commercial broadcasters worldwide at no cost. This could be a good option for your station to fill one-off, fill-in or short-term needs. Radio stations can download the show from the Public Radio Exchange (PRX) and Pacifica AudioPort.
